This Privacy Policy explains how Form-Studio, a product of BN Softlabs ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use our form-building platform (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register or sign in — including via Google Sign-In — we collect your name, email address, and, if provided by Google, your profile picture. We do not receive your Google password.

Form and submission data. If you build forms with the Service, we store the forms you create and the responses submitted to them, including any personal data your respondents choose to provide. As the form creator, you control what fields you collect and are responsible for how you use that data — see "Your Responsibilities" below.

Usage data. We may collect basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to keep the Service secure and reliable.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, and secure the Service (authentication, sessions, abuse prevention).
• To send account-related emails (e.g. submission notifications, respondent confirmations) that you or your forms trigger.
• To power optional AI-assisted features (see below).
• To operate optional custom-domain hosting for published forms.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate the Service. Each processes data under its own privacy terms:

• Google Firebase Authentication — for Google Sign-In.
• Google AI (Gemini) — powers optional AI-assisted form-building suggestions. Content you submit to these features may be sent to Google's API.
• Cloudflare — for optional custom-domain routing on published forms.
• An email delivery provider — for transactional emails (notifications, confirmations).

4. Cookies & Sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain account and form data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual forms and submissions from your dashboard at any time. To request full account deletion, contact us using the details below.

6. Your Responsibilities (Form Creators)

If you use the Service to collect data from respondents (e.g. contact details, survey answers), you act as the data controller for that data. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it, disclosing your own privacy practices to your respondents, and complying with any applicable data protection law.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
